General Information
This hiking adventure is rated challenging for beginners and moderate for experienced hikers, requiring participants to be in good physical condition. The trail leads through diverse alpine landscapes, with sharp ascents and descents, deep valleys carved by mountain rivers, rugged rocky peaks, and stretches of resilient mountain pine. Despite the dramatic scenery, the chosen routes are generally solid underfoot and reliable, offering both challenge and security. Weather in the mountains can shift rapidly—even in summer—adding difficulty and occasionally requiring adjustments to the route, especially in remote areas. The main treks like Valbona Valley to Theth Valley typically takes 6–7 hours. Experience: Previous trekking experience is helpful but not essential for participants who are very fit and comfortable with long hiking days. Each participant must carry their own daypack. The Main luggage will be transported by mule or horse, so it must be packed in a soft bag or duffel (suitcases are not suitable).
